Do Your Best, Then Get Better

Whatever Else you do, KEEP GETTING BETTER

Keep getting Better

It’s really easy to make excuses, but effort and perseverance will mean that you keep getting better.

If you’re not sure how to do something, the easy answer is to just not bother.
But then you don’t make any progress.
And some progress is ALWAYS better than none.

So do the best you can, every day.

Keep learning new things.

Use the new things you learn to change what you do.

Keep Getting Better

Your best is all you can ever do.

Your best might not be perfect but you will learn from the experience, and you will make progress.

And anyway, if you want to keep on learning and developing, there will ALWAYS be room for improvement.

In your eyes at least, your best will NEVER be perfect.

But always remember:

“It’s better to have tried and failed than never to have tried”

What does it mean to fail?

Well in the words of Thomas Edison, “I haven’t failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work”.

So really, you can’t ever fail. All you ever do is find a new way that doesn’t work, and if nothing else, that makes it easier next time

So learn from your mistakes. If you find a way that doesn’t work, make a note of it, and try something different next time.
If you don’t make a note of it, and you find lots of ways that don’t work, sooner or later you will inevitably repeat yourself.

The key is to keep on learning. Every day you know more, and are better able to tailor your efforts.
But you MUST do that.

If you don’t learn and apply what you have learned, then perhaps you have failed, because you will make the same mistakes again.

So carry on work, carry on learning, and watch as your best gets better and better.

Keep working

Keep learning

Keep getting better.
